	PermOrganics are proud to be launching Nothamptons first Community Supported Farming scheme.



	What is Community Supported Farming
	aslo known as Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a relationship of mutual support between a farmer and those who eat the food they produce. The term CSA was coined in America and encompasses a broad range of partnerships between consumers and producers. Each of these CSA arrangements is unique, tailored by the circumstances they develop out of. The Soil Association defines CSA as: "A partnership between farmers and consumers where the responsibilities and rewards of farming are shared". CSA allows communities to participate in the development of new local food initiatives and are as varied and innovative as the people involved.

	What Do You Get As Members?
	By joining our CSF scheme you will be supporting your local producers and ensuring that we keep on growing wonderful food! You can simply pay £24 per year to become a member, this will entitle you to use our site, receive quarterly e-newsletters and also get a discount on our courses! This helps pay for things like insurance. As well as this, you can choose a weekly veg share, which is a lot like a box scheme. The benefits to you: Fixed cost for the whole year, no price increases! It's really easy! Our produce is grown organically, picked the same morning, you can even see it growing! It's affordable! It's an easy way to support your local economy.
	Prices
	Yearly membership (individual) = £24.00 Yearly membership (family) = £34.00 Regular veg share = £34.67 per month (£8.00 per week) Large veg share = £52.00 per month (£12.00 per week) Some weeks we will supplement the veg with produce we buy in. Where possible this will be from other Northants producers, and absolutely never from over seas! If there is some veg you don't like, just tell us.

	Work Shares
	This is for people who have more spare time then they do cash! You can choose to work 3 or 4 hours per week on the field with us, or perhaps at home doing admin- in return for a veg share. Places are limited for work shares, but we do currently have vacancies! Email for details.
